1916 : P.M. Tseriotis is founded in Nicosia, Cyprus by Panayiots Michael Tseriotis as a Commission Agency for various European manufacturers like LEVER BROTHERS (subsequently UNILEVER) & BASF.

1927 - 1947 : P.M. Tseriotis grows and expands its operations concluding among others agency agreements for BLACK & WHITE whisky and NORWICH UNION INSURANCE (1927), H.J. HEINZ Foods (1928), TELEFUNKEN electrical goods (1932), JOHN WEST FOODS (1938) and LÖWENBRAU beer (1939).

1947: P.M. Tseriotis is incorporated as a limited liability company and begins aggressive growth by establishing branches in all major Cypriot cities. 

1953 : P.M. Tseriotis Ltd. is appointed sole importer and distributor of VOLKSWAGEN motor vehicles, beginning thus a successful foray into the motor vehicle market

1953 -1975: The business continues to grow with the conclusion of an increasing number of agency agreements, among these KERRYGOLD Irish Butter - IRISH DAIRY BOARD (1972) and BRAUN electrical appliances (1973). Its presence all over Cyprus is strengthened by the expansion of the retail sales force and car dealerships.

1976: UNICARS Ltd is incorporated to undertake the car dealership business as the group is appointed sole importer of AUDI AG.

1983: Agency agreement with BAUKNECHT – Whirlpool Home Appliances

1984: Cooperation agreement with MOTOROLA Inc. marking the start of a relationship which flourished further with the advent of cellular telephony. P.M. Tseriotis introduced the first mobile phones into the Cyprus market (1988). In subsequent years it concluded similar cooperation agreements with various subsidiaries of Motorola (paging, two-way radios etc.) and successfully bid for various major telecommunications projects in Cyprus. 

1986: LEVER PMT INDUSTRIES is founded as a joint venture with the UNILEVER GROUP

1990: Unicars is appointed sole importer of SEAT motor vehicles in Cyprus.

1996: P.M. Tseriotis establishes a modern Fast Moving Consumer Goods Distibution Centre and begins the distribution of ALGIDA ice cream. It also enters the Information Technology market with the formation of PYLONES INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY and its cooperation with GATEWAY. 

1997: MEGAELECTRIC Ltd., a chain of electrical goods stores is formed. 

1998: Entry into the Greek market with the foundation of PYLONES Hellas S.A. 
Unicars is appointed sole importer of SKODA motor vehicles in Cyprus. 

2000: In line with its strategic plans of focusing on core activities:

• The Group divests its shareholding in Megaelectric 
• Unicars acquires shares in a car rental company (UNIWHEELS –SIXT) and a company that deals in imported used cars.
• MELLON Cyprus is founded to handle specialist IT and Telecommunications projects.

2002 : Tseriotis Consumer Goods is certified with ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environment) & OSHAS 18001 (Health & Safety).

2003 : Tseriotis Consumer Goods establishes a Food-Service department with products from IONIKI. SELECT & HEINZ.

2004 : Unicars is certified with the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System of the Volkswagen Group.  Lever PMT Industries is renamed UNILEVER PMT Ltd.

2006: TGA Insurance Agencies Ltd is established to undertake the Group’s Insurance business. 

2007: Unicars inaugurates its new, state-of-the-art central premises in Nicosia. 

2008: Tseriotis Consumer Goods significantly expands its portfolio with the acquisition of the distribution of major brands: DR. OETKER, HP, AMOY and LEA & PERRINS.
